For the first time, the County Cup season started with the 9U County Cup and we were in South Area Group C at Aldershot Tennis Centre with Berkshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.
We had a fantastic start in the morning with the girls winning the Group. The team was:
Imogen Fry, Desiree Goller, Nicole Mak, Serena Mawo, Roxanna Paul
Results:
5 – 1 Berkshire we only lost 5 games (1 in the singles and 4 in the doubles)
5 – 1 Dorset we only lost 4 games in the singles
5 – 1 Wiltshire we only lost 6 games (1 in the singles and 5 in the doubles)
Congratulations to the team as they qualified for the South Finals being held on Saturday 29th March at David Lloyd Southampton.
A full report will follow and we’d like to wish the team very good luck for the Finals.
The boys event stared at 1.45 pm and our team was:- 
Isaac Blake, Rafael Butler, Jacob Lee, Charlie Reeves, Edward Wood
Results:
1 – 5 Berkshire the boys had a tough start having to play a very strong Berkshire team – we only managed to win the second boys doubles
4 – 2 Dorset there were 4 match tie-breaks – we won 3 of them!
6 – 0 Wiltshire we only lost 6 games in this match
A big well done to the team as they finished in second place with Berkshire as the winners and a full report will follow shortly.
