Bespoke CPD opportunities for Hampshire & IOW Head Coaches

Hampshire & IOW Tennis (HIOWT) has launched a new scheme to support our Level 4 & Level 5 Coaches

Join a group of head coaches looking to access quality, tailored CPD provision. Hampshire & IOW Tennis (HIOWT) working in association with Virtus Leisure, is keen to offer more personalised and bespoke CPD opportunities, which we feel will be better suited and more impactful to experienced coaches.

This group also forms a community of Head/Lead Coaches who can mentor younger coaches in Hampshire & IOW. Members of the community can also utilise the network to ask questions and get support of their fellow senior coaches.

The scheme is led by Joe Revelle, LTA L5 Coach, Coach Liaison Lead for HIOWT. CPD is a mixture of face-to-face and online workshops.

This scheme is only open to LTA Accredited/Accredited+ coaches, and it is our intention to offer as many of the 15 annual credits that are required each year for Accreditation+ as possible. Coaches must be working at an LTA-registered venue within Hampshire & IOW.

Head Coach CPD Event – September 2026

Run in collaboration with our Workforce Development Centre, Virtus Leisure, we will be offering bespoke CPD for Head Coaches with the theme Developing Your Workforce. We are also keen to gain your input to tailor Head Coach CPD in 2027. There will be a mixture of on-court and off-court delivery with a focus on workforce development, mentoring and tutoring.

Time: 9:00AM – 1:00PM

Venue – Winchester Racquets & Fitness, SO22 6AN

Cost: £25 including refreshments (50% subsidy from HIOWT)
