The H&IOW team were placed in Bela – Group 3 with Berkshire, Cornwall and Warwickshire

Pairs:    Jeremy & Steve and Michael & Paul

Group matches:

1^st match v Cornwall 2-0:  Jeremy & Steve won 6-1, 6-2 and Michael & Paul won 6-2, 6-4

2^nd match v Berkshire 1-1:  This was a much tougher match and both matches went to a third set tie-break with Jeremy & Steve winning 12-10 and Michael & Paul lost 5-10 so the match finished a draw.

3^rd match v Warwickshire 2-0:  Jeremy & Steve won 6-4, 7-5 and Michael & Paul won 6-1, 6-4 so this meant we were first in Group 3.

Main draw:

The next match was against Lancashire for a place in the semi-finals.  Jeremy & Steve narrowly lost 6-7, 6-7 whilst Michael & Paul lost 4-6 3-6.

Well done to Jeremy, Steve, Paul and Michael who all had a very enjoyable weekend.

The next Padel County Cup will be the Open events from 13^th – 15^th November and the inaugural Junior Padel County Cup will take place over the weekend of 21^st – 22^nd November with all events being hosted at Rocket Padel Bristol.
