These central venue events were specifically aimed at players who had not competed in any LTA local competitions, giving them the opportunity to represent their Club, many for the first time.  It was not suitable for the more experienced competing players.  As the events were played as a team event, every rubber and point counted.  For each ball colour, the team comprised of 4 / 5 players of either gender and each team had a Captain, either a parent or coach.

8U Red:

We had 7 teams enter from:  Active Aces and Active Warriors Bishops Waltham, Aldershot TC, Avenue LTC, Milford Tennis & Squad Club,  Portsmouth Tennis Centre and Warsash Tennis Centre.

Well done to all the players – it was a great fun morning of team tennis and an enjoyable first experience into competition.

10U Green:

We had 4 teams enter from:  Active Aces and Warriors, Avenue LTC and Portsmouth Tennis Centre.

We would like to say a big thank you to Jenny Sayer for organising and refereeing both events and also thanks to all the Coaches / Parents who were Captains on the day!
