Role vacancies

During National Volunteers Week, it gave Hampshire & IOW Tennis the chance to say ‘thank you’ to all volunteers for the fantastic contributions they make to the County and venues.

For the second year, we asked all venues to nominate a maximum of three ‘Unsung Heroes’ who had gone unrecognised for their efforts at the venues, for example long-serving match secretary, someone who maintain the clubhouse, or a parent / former players who helps at sessions etc.

We received 16 nominations and all were rewarded with a digital thank you card and a £10 Costa voucher.  We also thanked all our Senior County Captains for all their hard work organising their teams this year.
