Inclusion

Creating an inclusive tennis community across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight is only possible through the passion, commitment and support of clubs, venues, coaches, community organisations and local partners. By working together, we can ensure that more people have the opportunity to enjoy tennis. Whether through disability-specific sessions, adapted activities or inclusive programmes to engage underrepresented groups, tennis offers a fantastic opportunity to create welcoming environments where everyone can feel part of the game.

Developing an inclusive offer can enhance and expand your existing programme, helping to engage new participants, strengthen community connections and create opportunities for people who may not have previously considered tennis. Support is available through Hampshire & IOW Tennis and the LTA for clubs, venues, organisations, coaches, volunteers and activators looking to develop inclusive practice. From training and resources to advice and ongoing guidance, we are here to help you create accessible, welcoming and meaningful tennis opportunities for all.
