This special celebration event held on Saturday 18th April at DL Southampton showcased elements of Hampshire & IOW Tennis’ work and activities and also included the AGM. Volunteers, coaches, players, captains etc could attend all or part of the evening and a free buffet was provided.
The event opened with on-court training demonstrations from our junior and senior county players and included 8U and 9U, 11U Girls, 18U Boys and Men’s age groups. There was also an opportunity to try Waking Tennis and take part in the Pro-AM One Point Slam, which had 24 entries and congratulations to the winner Alexander Martin.
The off-court sessions started with an introduction from our Chair, Lois Nash, followed by an interview with Chris Wilkinson, Performance Manager. Richard Cutler, Charity Manager, talked through the Annual Review which highlighted what Hampshire & IOW Tennis do as well as the 2025 Strategic Priorities, 2026 Strategic Metrics and Priorities and on-court successes.
As quick game of “Heads or Tails” was held before the AGM and well done to Mike Crumpler the winner.
Richard talked through the 2025 Annual Accounts and confirmed they were on the website. Richard also highlighted the long-term Budget forecast.
