Horndean Technology College have managed to achieve grant funding to refurbish the 7-court site, which will include adding floodlighting to 3 of the 7 courts and developing a Community Tennis Programme.
A contractor has been appointed to deliver the scheme and the project is currently in for planning with East Hampshire District Council. They are expecting a determination date of early July, at which point the works will commence and hopefully will be completed by September 2023.
Richard Wood of RW Sport is currently working closely with Horndean Technology College and he’s looking to initiate the tender process to identify a tennis operator. At this initial stage, RW Sport is keen to hear from coaches / tennis operators as an expression of interest.
